School trip to see a wolf park (Parc Alpha)

Jacks end of year school trip was to Parc Alpha in the Parc de Mercantour. And Daddy hopped along for the trip! The park is a park for wolves where the children can see wolves up personal. And do not be afraid,k wolves only eat pigs and little red ridding hood!

The 21st (midsummers day) is also the festival of music here so we went to the big jazz band

show in Valbonne. Here it is below. Jack and Mummy are doing the sitting dancing thing.

fete d'ecole June 2009

Jack had his school show:festival today. It consists of a show (spectacle) by each class. Jack's class sang a few songs (there is a video of one of the songs below). Then there was a bbq, food, drinks and lots of games and music for the kids. There was also a display of the class work and photos from the year. Jack's class had a tree of sweets.

Chapeau

Sarah loves putting stuff on her head and saying "chapeau". She plays this game quite a lot. This time she is doing it with her "doudou".


Again, Sarah playing this game while Daddy is driving. She looks as though she is having fun!

Hey, a post about Daddy. Daddy is writing this with sand in his Crocs, salt in his eyes and all that from work! Just back from a quick lunchtime "boardmeeting"/"session" on the water. Here are one or two photos from the spot.

Weekend 6-7 June 2009

A nice warm weekend (despite the poor weather forecast - as we say it is only bad on the TV to keep the toursits away!). It was also a windy weekend, with approx. 30 knots both days.
Jack and Sarah enjoyed the weekend outside and also the first weekend at the pool. Sarah went in, with Daddy. Jack did not go in, yet.
