Jack was dressed as IronMan for the school Carnaval.
Jack was second into the class this morning and first to the door. It was hard to get photos this year as we could not get into the class. Sarah dressed as Tigger. Jack, first to the class door! The teacher dressed up as a pirate.
Jack and Sarah fighting over the scooter - Jack won.
Jack as IronMan - bad quality photo due to indoor lighting and mobile phone.
First day windsurfing this year and I chose a good day - lashing rain, 6 degrees (air) and 12 degrees (water), 45 knots with gusts at 55-60 knots, on shore wind with large dumping waves. I was totally overpowered and just happy to gybe.....
On the way home, I was one of the last to drive down the coast road before they closed it due to the waves breaking on the road.
We were not many out, about 10 of us and not many of us getting out the back.
Just to show that it can be sunny some times this year! This was the first sunny day after 2 days of snow and you can see all the runs down through the powder. Pure joy!
Nice sunny day on the way up on the ski lift.
Sarah riding the snow horse she made.
Jack's turn.
Jack really enjoyed the luge and flying off the side of the ski slope.
Sarah posing for the cameras with the latest in stylish blue fleece and fitting jeans and fur boots.
My line down the mountain on my skis! and not snowboard. First time I got a "real" off-piste ski experience.
Mummies car the morning after under the sun but still cold and snow on the ground.
Jack cleaning up the garden.
The garden under the snow and sun.
Jack de-icing the road so he can drive his car.
Jack and his snowman in the garden.
Jack amazed about the amount of snow once we got home. Or maybe it is just happy to be out of the car after 3 hours to do the 4 km to get home!
Mums car under the snow.
Finally home! Note I had to put on the snow chains to get out of Sophia just due to the amount of other cars out of control, spinning, sliding, overtaking, bumping, blocked, abandoned. A bit of everything. I even had a van behind me that slide down the road into the back of me and both of us sliding down the road! Jack enjoyed seeing all the cars stuck, cars with snow chains, cars with tyre snow socks. He was excellent in the car for so long :)
Some of the mess on the way home.
More of the mess.
Picking Jack up from the sports centre.
Jack having a snowball fight at the sports centre.
This weekend, Mummy and Daddy got to ski/snowboard together, and we did a little bit of off-piste skiing (but staying very close to the main slopes as it was dangerous - one person died in an avalanche on Saturday so may god be with him and his family).
