June 1st weekend

The family on the merry-go-round in Nice. This was our first time on the big merry-go-round in Nice. Jack liked it and as per usual, wants to go back.

Room with a view

Here is the view from my hotel room in Bangalore (the Ista Hotel for those of you that know the area). You can see the lake in the background and the temples among the houses.

Long Weekends of May

During school, Jack and his classmates built an art piece called "Three little pigs" and it was displayed in public at the FAPE 2009, the local school art show in the grounds of the Mouans-Sartaux Caste. He was very happy to see what he built!

Summer arriving at Cannes Beach

Who can complain about a weekend on the beach in Cannes during the film festival. Nice warm weather, live music from the VIP club (a disco from St Tropez set up at Palm beach for the festival and they play loud music in the evening).

In reality, Valbonne had a "Fete de Sport" and we went and Jack and Sarah enjoyed themselves immensely. Jack got sweets after each event!!

Cannes Film Festival 2009

WE went to see the film "Hokura" by a Japanese director that won the Carrosse d'Or.
