Fete du Sport

Fete du Sport at Sophia Antipolis on Saturday/Sunday so we went on Sunday morning.

Jack had a go on a small Electric car.


Sarah was not allowed and she was NOT happy.

Long Weekend

A long weekend here in France so we got out between the showers (yes the weather is not great here, sunny and warm followed by cold and rainy - and a distinct lack of wind )

6-8m waves hit the Cote d'Azur

Sailed 4.5 in 20-40 knots of wind in on shore conditions. Nice sailign and jumping. Waves seemed to have wreaked havoc on the coast. See photo for one of the waves hitting the promenade at Nice (compare the size of wave to the hotels behind it). The papers talk of 6-8 metres but they seemed more like 2-3metres but when they hit the beach the sure look impressive.
